Its the last lap before the end of the school year and work is demanding more of my time and energy away from my personal life and activities. I'm trying my best to dedicate the weekends to going to the beach and eating sushi afterwards with friends. I'm proud to brag that my tan is returning and I feel prettier than usual ✌✨
I'm also sadblogging tonight to distract myself from being unable to go to Chappell Roan's concert in St. Petersburg tomorrow. As I alluded to earlier, everyone at work is scrambling and no one can take days off throughout the last month so there was no way I could go 😭 One of my friends and I tried to cheer ourselves up by blasting her songs on her car speakers as we bounced between place to place.
I'm excited for May to end to enjoy the summer break and to be able to squeeze more excitement into my days. I won't be completely out of work though since I already have scheduled a bunch of babysitting gigs. The supplies and toys I ordered online to fill their days with fun are slowly arriving 💫 I'm really looking forward to taking care of my hummingbirds!
